Checking in

Hello all! Just a quick note to say that I've been a busy little bee crafting away for the sidewalk sales this weekend! I've made a bunch of stuff in the past week. Hopefully I will get some pictures up next week when it's not so crazy. I've got a temporary set-up in my living room so I can craft and watch the Olympics at the same time. It's really upped my productivity! I guess I need a tv in my craft room ;)

Goodness Gracious! 19-29

Well hello!  Long time, no see.  It's been a crazy couple of weeks around here but I did get SOME stamping done!  I'm going to be doing a craft fair in a couple of weeks so that will really up my count, I'm sure.  I'm trying to figure out just what it is that I want to do.  It's my first craft fair so I don't want to make too much that might not sell, but I don't want to make not enough of the projects either and then be stuck!  I've found some super-cute ideas online and am eager to get started.  I just got home after a weekend away so tomorrow I will start with some of the new stuff!

But for now, I'd better get into catching up with the cards I've already done!

The color combo is taken from ColourQ #143 - I substituted Calypso Coral for Poppy Parade.

SUPPLIES
Stamps: Up, Up, & Away, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pacific Point (Brights Collection DSP)
Ink: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker
Other: Modern Label, Word Window, 3/16" Corner Punches, Dimensionals

I also did another One Sheet Wonder, and guess what?  I don't hate these cards!  In fact, I'd like to make more similar to this and sell them as sets at the craft fair.  I'd probably only make a few and change up the template, but I think this would be a cute gift.

(The sentiment on this one is embossed in white.)

I got the template and card sketches originally from the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website (if you type one sheet wonder into the search box on the Demo site you should be able to find it).  The PDF was originally posted by Nancy Horn who credits Stephanie Carroll for the original idea.  Overall I like the way these cards turned out.  I think next time I might dress them up  just a little bit more with some pearls or rhinestones, maybe some faux stitching around the outside of some.

SUPPLIES
Stamps: Sincere Salutations, Best Yet
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Pool Party, Whisper White, So Saffron (Subtles Collection DSP)
Ink: Basic Gray, Versamark
Other: Basic Gray 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain, Basic Gray 5/8" Satin Ribbon, XL Oval Punch, Curly Label Punch, White Embossing Powder

And that's it!  Hopefully I'll be back with more soon but for now, happy crafting, everyone!

I'm back! 15-18 of 100

Hello again!  I'll skip the fluff and get straight to the stamping.

This is the card I made for my husband for our anniversary.  I clear embossed the colored tree by covering the stamp in VersaMark and then coloring with markers.  Very simple and easy-to-make card.

SUPPLIES
Stamps: Easy Events
Cardstock: Crumb Cake
Ink: Basic Black, VersaMark, Stampin' Write Markers (Garden Green, Real Red, Early Espresso)
Other: Clear Embossing Powder

This is a mini pizza box that I made as a prize for the workshop I had this past Saturday.  I'll get to that disaster later.  I filled the inside with Hershey's Bliss and a couple of Ghiradhelli squares.

SUPPLIES
Stamps: Yummy
Cardstock: Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White
Ink: Midnight Muse
Other: 3/16" Corner Punch, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (Daffodil Delight)

This is the first of two cards we were supposed to make on Saturday.  I based it on a card I posted already (Best Friend Forever) and modified it just a little bit.

SUPPLIES
Stamps: Fabulous Phrases
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Primrose Petals, Polka Dot Parade DSP (Daffodil Delight)
Ink: Primrose Petals
Other: Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, White Gel Pen

And this is the second card we were supposed to make on Saturday, again based on a card I already posted (the one with the umbrella).  I really like the way this one turned out, especially the way the faux stitching around the outside mimics the stitching on the ribbon.

SUPPLIES
Stamps: For the Birds
Cardstock: Basic Gray, So Saffron, Whisper White, Polka Dot Parade DSP (Marina Mist)
Ink: Basic Gray
Other: 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (Basic Gray), White Gel Pen

So anyway, I was supposed to have a workshop on Saturday.  I was excited because I was supposed to have around six people there.  The only person that showed up was my upline, who lives an hour and a half away.  I was pretty disappointed but as they say, every cloud has a silver lining.  Now I can use these cards at my workshop later this month and I don't have to prep anything ;)

If my calculations are correct, I'm way behind.  I have an extra day off this week (today) because of the holiday so I'd better hop to it!  Thanks for stopping by :)
